The Next Few Years Are Going To Be Interesting

Yours truly as imagined by the MidJourney AI.

What do I mean by that? I’m talking about AI of course. Artificial Intelligence.

(If by some miracle you’re actually reading this and wondering why, once again, I haven’t posted in a while….. ugh, its been an interesting couple of weeks, lets just leave it at that.)

I don’t even pretend to understand it, other than I know its (not very) simply statistics and correlation, I think. Very very complicated stuff, actually. But if the last few months are any indication, its going to get WILDAF.

Check out the image for this post. That’s as close as I could get to recreating ME working on a laptop. It’s fairly close, not exact, because, well, it doesn’t have pictures of me. That took a few iterations of the prompt, tweaking, adding, removing stuff as I went.

I’m actually on MidJourney, and I’m not sure if this link will take you there. I think if you’re also on there and logged in, you’ll be ablel to see it, otherwise I don’t think so.

Yeah looks like it doesn’t work, bc I couldn’t get it to “unfurl” just now…. if you’re signed up for MJ check it out.

Here are a few of the images I’ve created using it. I’m starting up at least one if not a few “brands” using this tech. One I’ve already got off the ground at….

I mean, check this stuff out. Doooooooood.

OK, but what do I mean by “the next few years” etc. I mean, this tech is going to explode. It’s going to become more widespread. It’ll get refined much more. As people (like me) learn how to use tools like this, the line between what’s real and what isn’t is going to get blurred intensely. I’ve seen several AI tools that can clone and deep fake voices, animate faces to look like they’re actually speaking, and more. I mean just combining those two in the right way, I could possibly convince you that literally anyone on Earth is saying literally anything I want them to.

Music generation, holy cow, the ones I’ve seen so far aren’t that great, but they’ll get better. Take ChatGPT, I mean, come on. Soon we’ll just be asking Alexa or Siri to do all our homework and repetitive tasks for us.

Buckle up.
