Kenwood R-2000 Attenuator Control No Receive Fix

If your R-2000 suddenly goes deaf, here’s a likely (and pretty easy) fix for it.

The strange attenuator control gets dirty. All you need to do it open it up, squirt some contact cleaner into the control that’s connected to the front panel with what looks like an ammo loader from a B-17 bomber. That should do it.

That’s pretty much it, really.
